Application Process
Applications to the UBC Okanagan Interdisciplinary Co-op program will be completed through Canvas.
Applications are accepted from August 1 – September 15.
The application consists of three sections that students are required to complete in order to be considered for entry into the Co-op program.
Section 1: Personal & Academic Information
- Tell us about yourself! You’ll provide some basic details, like your name, contact information, and program of study. This helps up confirm your eligibility for the co-op program
Section 2: Experience & program awareness
- Share your story. We’ll ask you to reflect on any past experiences – whether from work, volunteering, or coursework – and answer a few multiple-choice questions to show your understanding of what’s expected in the co-op program
Section 3: Video interview – Communication & Presentation
- This is your chance to speak directly to us. You’ll record short video responses to a few questions so we can get a sense of how you communicate and present yourself – important skills for co-op success
